So I was doing a deal with Valentino. about selling my Counter-Strike Global Offensive inventory, he offered $1,125 for my inventory at that time.

I would also have done that, but he had a decent reputation before the reset, and I kinda just wanted the deal done quickly.
Regarding the middleman, I should have been worried when he wanted to avoid using one, stating that "He recently was scammed, and tired of using a middleman", and I just went with it, even though I gave him the choice of selecting one himself.
