Is there any app I could use on the kali linux operating system that allows me to pull IPs from PS4 party chat/games, if so could I do it with just the eth0 connection or do it have to be wifi. Running in virtual box btw.

There is plenty of packages and both scripts you can run in Linux to Monitor Network Traffic. There is an amazing thing called Google :) I've used AirMon in the past, this helps get your WPA/WPA-2 Handshack which you can use to find your Network and further analysis the Network Traffic.

You could essentially run a MiTM Attack on the PS4 Local IP, through that and by using Wireshark you'll see the packets to and from the PS4.
I sometimes come around and poke a few threads before leaving for a few months again.
Use any windows ip puller for ps4 such as lanc remastered or psn resolver. Just run the application with wine and download the packet capture libraries (linux versions).
