Hello everybody. My name is Xerotic and I recently became an Administrator here at Hack Forums. I will be (and have been already!) creating plugins, adding features to the site, and improving site functionality where needed. While I am in this position I will be dedicating my time towards HF full time. In order for this to be possible, however, I must be able to earn money to pay my bills. As part of a plan to allow me to dedicate the time I will be (and have been) dedicating to HF, Omniscient has allowed me to grant the Xerotic Bot DNA award once per month with the understanding that it will be sold or auctioned each month (or granted for free/not granted at all). This will allow me to afford my rent/bills so that I can continue to pump out code and bring some amazing features to HF. Features that have been talked about for years are going to be coming to HF swiftly, but only as long as I am able to afford to dedicate all of my time towards the site.



Award
The Xerotic Bot DNA award is very rare. It has only been granted twice! The award will only be granted once per month and it will either be sold, auctioned, or given away. It is designed to support me so that I can support Hack Forums.

My only question is, why would someone buy this over let us say the GA? Since the GA award typically gives the user an extra award or two.

Agreed. This site has come a super long way just since Xerotic has been Admin. It's amazing to see all the great change, I'm glad that Omni has him around.

Someone suggested that before and I actually really really really like the idea but it conflicts with this rule:
