It's now removed from HF. With some changes to reputation and a points system on the way I felt the Prestige system was dated and no longer useful. It was a fun feature but it's time for something new.

Thanks to everyone who broke the Prestige formula.

Previously these sections had minimum Prestige requirements which may get altered to be based on reputation:

Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics
Innuendo
C Programming
Counter-Strike
Premium Sellers Section

Prestige was a great idea, though I see why it was dated. Just makes room for better things. :)

I never really understood the point of it other than just a point system. Hope you bring something awesome to replace it though, I know I've been negative but I'm just not a fan of change but I'm getting use to all of this! Don't hate me omni

Problem is I am long time mature member here, and do comment appropriately. (save the odd drunkn Omni pm rant, thankfully still here)
I also give zero fuck about rep. So why am I being restricted where I post?

Edit: I don't do market, so I get that. Under current system as I understand innuendo peeps gonna get meaningless rep regardless. I do know C Rusty af, and the others, this makes no sense to me. Where I can contribute, I will but not based on rep.

Upgraded members were/are exempt from prestige requirements in sections.

Seems like a pretty good call to me.
In general the changes seem like they will be beneficial to HF.

Oh yea, it was fun breaking the formula. Sad it's gone but for the better. Never got an award for it though.  😵
