Okay honestly im not too sure if this belongs here or in the melody section? So if so please move thread!

I just recently checked out the newly released music video for "sad" from the recently deceased artist xxxtentacion ; and I have some really mixed fucking emotions and feelings on how this was projected and handeled after the death.

I would love to hear your thoughts, feelings, or opinions below.

I believe this belongs to Rap battle and hip hop section.
Dont forget he used a lot of satanic symbols in his songs and pics/videos. My personal opinion is that what happened to 2pac, michael jackson and others happened to him also.

Honestly, I feel this is to hyped up. I know there are tons of people out there going who the hell is this guy, people like him die every day, he is not that special.

I think it is a great concept for a video. Portraying him becoming stronger and disapproving of his past. I think it was a strong message to himself and it does make it some what sad that this came out after he passed. He is obviously not proud of his past actions everyone are judging him on and this proves it.
That being said. It really could've been written better. All the captions looked like they were lifted out of a 14 year old edge lords fan fiction.
Honestly I'd not even class it as a music video as the music takes a back seat and doesn't even really seem in place for the video. It kind of feels like a pretentious film students project.

That being said I don't like him or even his music at all so I may hold bias.

The music video sort of proves how much he had changed, and if he hadn't of had an untimely death, I'm sure he'd have changed a lot more. My thoughts? The video doesn't really touch me as it might have touched others, but it did make me feel for his family and friends.

I agree with this all basically; I personally do enjoy a lot of his stuff though.
