Create A Bunch of Directories From List

I have a text file called "directory.txt" and it contains something like this:
Quote:/directory
/directory/otherdirectory
/directory/stuff
/directory/otherdirectory/stuffhere
/directory/otherdirectory/files

I need a simple VB code that reads the first line in the text file, creates the directory, removes the first line, then repeat.

How can i do this?
Probably not the best way to do it, but here's my example. Note that this code example does not delete any rows in the text file. Also, this example supports comments, as long as the line starts with #.
