I was not defending him, I was simply stating that if you are to accuse someone then at least have legitimate proof, e.g. Discord names matching a PM from him for example. Many people blame legitimate users for imposters etc, not that anyone would want to imposter a low rep user but you can understand the reasoning behind my comment.
