I was thinking about how to be polite in public places. I always say "hi" and "hello" with a friendly smile. I talk to the other person always, and it's become a habit of mine, just casual small talk. I could spark up a conversation and it'll last forever. I also crack a lot of jokes. Everyone respects and appreciate my manners. I say "please", "thank you", and so much more.
How do you be polite? What are some things that you do? Share something that you would like for other people to do to be polite. Let us know. Let's go!
I say "please" and "thank you".

Not anymore ✌
Honestly OP, I just try to treat everyone as individuals with their own unique view on the world and unique problems. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt as much as I can, and assume good intentions. I also try not to assume I know what someone believes about something based on a different belief they hold. I try not to jump to conclusions, and I try to treat others the way I would like to be treated 🎉

You asshats would never recognize me IRL.
Im the guy who greets you with a kind hello, offers you parking, calls your friends down for you, and offers the entire suite of amenities to disposal.
Off shift, ya'll can fuck off and leave me alone, I dont know shit and I dont care if your trapped in an elevator or burning in your penthouse unit.
- Should not have been a dick last week when your package did not arrive on time, kinda deal. (LOL)
Stop trying to please other people, fuck what they think bro.
Unless your forced to like I am for a job. Then just suck it up, smile and play nice till you punch off shift.

Instead of saying, "What?" Try, "I'm sorry?"
Its common sense but no one has it anymore

Instead of saying “I'm sorry,” say “thank you” instead.

I've heard of that, it doesn't always work.

You dont seem like you're very happy with life Armada. You seem resentful, and I think that says a lot about you.
I dont see why you find it such a burden to be kind towards other people, unless of course you yourself are not in a good place. It seems to me that treating others with a basic level of decency is expected of those who are doing well in life. The fact you presume that someone would be a dick to you suggested to be that people are often treating you poorly, and as such you treat others poorly. The fact you're a 40 some odd year old man with such a lack of respect for your fellow humans I find pathetic, and I would encourage you to reflect on your own situation in life.
I hope you find true happiness in your life 🤝

I try my best to be polite. I always say "have a good day."

But here's the real question, do you mean it or is it just a habit? It's one thing to say "have a good day", it's another to actually wish well upon those around you ✌

Depends on the formality. When you're with your friends manners aren't really a thing. If you burp, say "excuse me". They respond, "there is no excuse for you". When you see your friends you flip them off and stick out your young. When someone says sorry, respond with, "you should be". When someone's smoking and starts coughing, blow your hits on them.
When you're speaking with someone formally (trying to make money). You say all the basic phrases, "pardon me", "eh-skoozi", "my bad", "I apologize"...etc.

Haha, he honestly looks so sarcastic. Like that type of face, you would pull when you prove everyone wrong.
I can confidently print hello world, what about you?
