Remote Administrative Tool Conference v.2018

OBJECTIVE

We as Remote Administrative Technologies are used to being our own Islands, so to speak.
Although competitors in nature we share the same battle field and have common enemies.  The focus to this organization it to bring the Developers together, discuss existing and potential future issues to our marketshare and place, and how to best address these factors.

We have entities working together to bring sole proprietors down for simple design of software, they win because they are forces of numbers, again, we work as our own islands, it is time to break this cycle.

Competition or not, it is high time we start an open discussion towards the future of our technologies.

When is one considered a "Heavy supporter"?
I'm not using HF much, expect long reply times.

I think it's either over 300 lbs or a bmi over 18%

In all serious though this is interesting. I do wonder though because other RATs don't police malicious use as actively as ORCUS if this can be used by someone to argue that you are assisting in malicious use. Not saying I'd agree with that argument, but I can see a prosecutor taking that route

https://riot.im/ would be an appropriate choice as it supports E2EE on rooms with multiple people (while both rocket chat and OTR protocol do not).
