Because "Moral" is something we made up to preserve human kind, it's not built into our DNA.
Also has a lot to do with one religion views.

I set a limit for how far I'll go. For me personally, at the end of the day I'm pretending to be a model selling her pics. I don't try to go the full catfish. I'll offer the conversation for free but I won't go as far as pretend to meet up with them for money. The money side is strictly transaction. If conversation makes them feel like it isn't, that's their prerogative, but I don't string them out with lies. Instead I string them out with promise of more pictures or video if I can provide. I may be capitalistic but I try not to be a total asshole.
