Mmm, that's some scary shit. It's like some ghost sitting next to you or in front of you touching your phone. If you can't fix it, maybe restore it? :(

Before going to the Apple store, you can try hard to reset your iPhone to fix the problem. Generally speaking, the issue can be repaired after you do this. In case the problem still remains, you may consider using a repair tool called Joyoshare UltFix iOS system recovery. Why I mention the tool is that I have tried it to fix my iPhone X ghost touch. It can fix the problem successfully and cause no data loss. Hope these methods can help you.

I had this problem with an iPhone a few years ago I had to take it in for a replacement at the Apple store. They told me something along the lines of it’s an issue with the screen when the phone gets hot that it makes the screen repeat touches you’ve previously done.

Not sure if it is the same case with yours as that was on a 5C just after release but it may be the same thing.
