Dawn is slowly transitioning into a Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics (SRPP) group and is now open for recruitment. We are looking for people who are interested in debating or simply discussing various topics but are also capable of acting mature, calm, and respectful towards other members of the group. We expect our members to be active, but most importantly, we want them to enjoy themselves and have fun! Dawn will be a group with a limited member count. Quality members are much more valuable to us than a large influx of members, and we prefer a family environment where everyone's views can be expressed and heard better. With a close group, our members will be able to get to know one another and form bonds or friendships rather than stay in the anonymity that bigger groups very regularly develop. There are a limited number of open positions available, so we will be very careful with our member selection. We will mainly focus on SRPP-related topics, but we might allow some out-of-topic discussions.

Requirements:

• You will be expected to post 1 thread every 1 month and 1 post every week minimum.
  
• No legitimate/valid scam reports.
  
• No ban history.
  
• While negative reputation is most likely to not affect your chances of success, it might be considered.

  I would most likely just let that topic die, and focus on other topics.
  
• You are having a debate with someone and the debate is getting heated in a bad way. What do you do?
  I always debate in a nice tone, and never use excessive language, if someone starts doing it towards me, I usually just point out to them what they are doing and how they're acting. If they continue, I just ignore them.
  
• Someone insults you after you have posted a thread with your political views regarding a recent topic. How do you react?
  I generally just tell people to explain their point of views, and turn over the conversation, so I am in control.
  
• Someone opens a thread and claims something that is not true. You know it is not true and you want to correct him. How do you do it?
  I provide links to sources, where he can find the correct claims.

  Really dark humor, but with a genuine understanding of the world and how it functions.

  Not really besides Facebook, where I am in a political group mainly for young people, and then I run an anarchism group.

  Seems like a serious group with space for peoples opinion, rather than oppressing them.

  I believe in Anarcho-capitalism, so I usually like to discuss the state and how it would be more effective if we don't have it. I believe in a gradually transition, and I like to hear other peoples opinions about it.

  Free will. Most important thing in the world for me. Everybody should be totally free and not oppressed by anybody.

• I'll ask for a response in my thread and i'll try be as clear as possible when asking the question.
  

• I'll wait 5 to 10 mins because it will help the ''other'' person to calm down and after he's calm , i'll re-start the debate in a good way.
  

• I'll ask the person why is he insulting me and if it was my fault (i'll accept the fact that it was my fault) and if it wasn't and he just did that of angers , i'll ignore him or just make sure that he knows that he's insulting me out of nothing/anger.

  If there is no response, I would let the thread die. I would not want to gravedig a subject.

  Keep a calm, level head and just try to continue the debate with logic. Never let your emotions enter the debate.
  
• Someone insults you after you have posted a thread with your political views regarding a recent topic. How do you react?
  I would at first debate why they are insulting me, and if it doesn't lead to intellectual discussion, they're on the block list.
  
• Someone opens a thread and claims something that is not true. You know it is not true and you want to correct him. How do you do it?
  You correct them kindly, with sources on what is true. The goal is to educate, not bully.

  I would describe myself as a fair guy. I love to debate, to educate, and to inform others on various subjects. I'm 22 years old, I plan to go to school in the fall for astronomy/astrophysics.

  I have been in the groups Logic and Void.

  I'd pick the cat. I'm lazy, grumpy, and always hungry.

  I see lots of trees, dirt, and I hear a lot of animals. It is a tiny bit past noon. It feels like it is about to rain.

  I have been waiting for an SRPP group for some time now and this feels like a great opportunity!
