I put the image URL in between the IMG tags, but it doesn't show up.

Make sure it is the direct link, link should have the .(file format) part in it. Also make sure the image hosting site you are using isn't blacklisted on here.

As long as it's a link like imgur or of any sort with https in the beginning, not http, it should work perfectly fine.

This was the issue I was having. Always make sure it's a direct link.

Copy the image address not the link address.

Example:

https://i.imgur.com/0CJas21.jpg Image address.

Seeing as the responses are all mixed here are the actual requirements for posting images.

You will need to use the IMAGE tags which are
Code
[img][/img]

An example would be
Code
[img]https://i.imgur.com/3rrg9Ko.gif[/img]

You will need to ensure you have https for the image - try upload to imgur or another source. You will also need the extension of the image in MOST cases but not all. That is usually one of the following:
.PNG
.IMG
.JPG
.JPEG
.GIF

To do this, you can usually right click an image and click 'Copy image location'.

Last but not least you will need to be upgraded I believe to post images. Please keep in mind some sections on HF don't allow images (or didn't in the past such as Innuendo due to the nature of the images being posts there.)

It needs to be HTTPS, else HF will not display it at all.
I sometimes come around and poke a few threads before leaving for a few months again.
