I read the tutorial on java on this website, i read the meaning of what class means, and all the other keywords, but I still don't understand how to put together something, I also see people putting together program but with different writing, i don't understand, aren't they suppose to be using the same language? I also downloaded the program and tool kit, and created the program hello world, but I just copied the program from the internet, and it didn't really help me understand, can someone explain to me how this java coding works, how programs work on java, what is meant by vulnerable coding, for example hackers find vulnerable places in the coding, I don't understand what these terms mean in general, are some coding stronger than others, please help, PM me if you can help me for a longer discussion, thanks

well there's your problem right there. You can't just copy and paste you actually have to do write out programs or you won't ever learn. Most programmers take from others so try finding some sources online, look up what you don't understand. Plenty of resources out there Java is one of the easiest languages next to python.
It is understandable that you do not understand the language, or even programming in general, at this moment in your programming career because it seems that you are new. It takes many hours, weeks, months, or even years to understand certain concepts in programming. The only way to improve your understanding of programming to obviously challenge yourself every day. This can apply to anything. It would be a good idea to read books for introductory java programming, checkout challenge websites, and learning how to read documentation.
Here are a few books that I would recommend for you:
I would recommend to start with the first one in the list and the last two, you can choose either one. Here are websites to challenge: Aim to code for at least one hour a day either doing these challenges or your own projects. Also try to not google for help, instead read the official documentation. Don't have too much fun. |
