Recently we have updated the buddy list to add some more functionality to it. When you click on the "Buddies" link for the buddy list popup it will now show the users online location (as it would on their profile).

We also added two new search tools.

Find Buddy Threads: https://hackforums.net/search.php?action...ddythreads

Find Buddy Posts: https://hackforums.net/search.php?action=findbuddyposts

We still need to find a good place to put these links but the functionality for them exists. Enjoy.

Oh great, it adds a little bit of utility to the buddy list! Thanks for the work 🙂

Makes the buddy features useful now. Pretty cool to search threads by certain people.

Excellent. Now I can stalk all of you even better. 😏

Definitely adds some spice to the buddy system. Great job Xero.

I've always wanted to expand the buddy list features and options. I feel like MyBB uses it poorly but it has much more potential.

Are you interested in adding the XMPP chat to the buddy function?

We are interested in adding XMPP to the site in general. Lot's of ideas floating around.

Great that sounds fucking amazing.

Maybe some versus games for bytes via the system? It'd be so nice to have.

Awesome update! I never really used the buddy system a lot in the past, but this update changed that. Keep it up!

Poker vs other users for bytes sounds perfect. I'd love to see that someday.
