Hello guys
Last night l saw few things on my hairy chest l thought it was a spot but when it moved it did freak me out!
I googled it and found out they are body lice! But what is strange is l haven’t had sexual contact for couple of months
Is there any other way to get body lice?
I shower everyday! Clothes worn once and washed after that?
And what is a treatment for it?
Thanks

You don't need to have sex to catch lice. Its literally just an infestation of bugs, many ways you can get them. For treatment, shave off all the hair with lice and use lice shampoo. I'd say use the lice shampoo 2 times a day, in the shower for a few weeks after shaving.
Edit: additionally clean your room very well. Get rid of all your blankets, get rid of your pillow cases and get fresh everything after your lice other wise you'll keep getting it.
I don’t want to shave all my chest, would a shampoo won’t work by itself?

Very unlikely. Its a pretty crucial part to shave off the infected hair, other wise they'll always be some left behind almost all the time.
Shaving is not crucial, Mainly to the fact that when girls get head lice, They don't have to shave their heads, You can get them from contact with everyday things, Sleeping in a hotel/motel, Staying over at a friends, It's endless.
It doesn't mean your unhygienic either, Best way to treat them is to use the shampoo, Replace bedding, Pillow covers, Cushion covers and wash every item of clothing that you have.
Make a check list of things that you need to do, Go down it and make sure you complete it in order to permanently rid yourself of lice, We had the same issue with my nephew and it took a couple weeks to make sure everything was neutralised.
Hope this helped.

It should work but shaving is easier. When i got lice in my hair when I was a kid I just used the shampoo to get that issue sorted.
Shave your chest hair, use lice shampoo and then burn the house down.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
i had that on my chest and beard area a few weeks ago and i went to my doctor to check what is it. i thought it was an allergic reaction but the doctor told me it's a chronic something (disease?) and can not be healed, you get that for a few days because of extreme stress situations. it fades away after a few days. so don't get stressed is how to heal it i guess
they dont always spread through sex.. Have you been sleeping on an ancient mattress, or have you spent the night anywhere like a hotel/motel or a friends house at any time before you noticed them?
wax every part of hair from your body and bathe in bleach
