As the title says, I'm unable to view desktop site on mobile. Even when forcing the "show desktop site" option in browsers.
Chrome: 69.0.3497.71
iOS 11 iPhone 7+
Yeah, because we only have one version of the site. It responds to your screen width. Unsure how Chrome handles the "view desktop version" mode but if it doesn't resize your screen then it's not going to work.
What's your beef with mobile display?

I just personally don't like it. The desktop view is , personally, better for me as I can see much more of what I'm reading/looking for. And afaik the "view desktop version" just says you are a desktop/normal computer trying to access the site and not a mobile one. I'd have to double check though.
Edit: Looks like it does some user agent stuff and possibly url.

Maybe this belongs somewhere else or nowhere, but it'd be nice to see the number of replies to a thread on mobile. Only thread titles show when browsing the forums.
Works for me in chrome on Android.
Looks like a problem on your end. However imo mobile looks better than the desktop site on my phone.
As above user said last post info would be nice but I'm not sure if it would be able to fit.

It was able to give the desktop version with "view desktop version" on Omni.

Have you ever just thought it was just your iPhone? After all could have sworn apple forces everyone to use their rendering engine, webkit.
There is a app that simulates PC website browsing i used it for other sites before and it should work for HF too. Cant remember the name but its on the App store

Chrome on Android works fine for me. Unfortunately, the only iPhone in the household keeps crashing upon launching Chrome so I can't test it on an iOS device. This issue is weird.
Is this happening to anyone else? What is your device?
Try using Firefox on mobile > "Request Desktop Site", does that work?

Nope :( It may be a weird edge case with iphones unless someone can confirm it works for them. I've had this issue before with some wiki sites but thats about it. It's not a /huge/ issue for me but it'd be nice to have since it gives me more info to work with and I can easily go back to a subforum rather than having to go back to the main screen.

You must not have updated CSS. The breadcrumb has been updated to work better on mobile. If you are viewing a thread you can easily go back to the subforum.
