Tesla and Elon Musk

Elon Musk seems like a super chill and fun guy but when your company is publicly traded anything you do drastically affects your company. cough smoking weed on live stream cough

I have no hate for the guy but this is one of the main reasons I refuse to invest in Tesla, he’s too sporadic and could make you loose a ton of money over night.

Does anyone else think this too?
Musk is too eccentric to have as the CEO of a public company that my money goes into. I don't like the fact that he is so heavily publicized for things irrelevant to actual company operations. Who gives a shit what he does in his spare time if the company makes money? Oh wait.... there's the problem.
Tesla would be smart to invest into now while in the current state of a bear market. Tesla will only grow given time.

what bear market?

I think he means now is the best time to invest in Tesla because the value is low. You can do that with most value stocks. With Tesla it is risky. With investing you must also understand human psychology. People exaggerate things. If they see 1 small negative thing then they think it is the end of the world.

The value is low... have you not seen the P/E? oh wait... it doesn't have one.

What value does the company have? Compare them to GM and Ford and you'll see the insanity of the stock price. Maybe another decline of 70% will be the proper valuation. 10.2 price-to-book vs an industry average of 1.7. Come'on.

Tesla is NOT a value stock. There is an actual definition of a value stock. Tesla is the opposite. Value stocks aren't even risky...

You are talking out of your ass this entire post. You don't know what you're talking about at all. I'm not even sure if you realize you don't know what you're talking about.

I never said Tesla is a value stock. I said you can buy most value stocks when the value is low.

I like Musk, but I've never made any money investing in people I like.

That is incorrect. You buy value stocks when the value is high because you don't expect much price appreciation, you expect to be paid in long lasting stable dividends. I.E. a value stock.

A growth stock. I.E. Amazon, a stock with a high P/E, typically pay no dividends and your returns will come from price appreciation.

😠
I started losing respect for Musk as a person over the course of this year. I made a killer off options trading then the whole “funding secured” fiasco made me scared to touch it again.
Don't all his businesses lose money every quarter lol. Basically just funding Musk's science projects; doesn't actually seem reasonable to bet on him.

The amount of people who hate on him astonishes me, he's changing the world for the better while a bunch of jackoffs on the internet act like they know better than him and give him shit for his decisions.
The man can have all the marijuana in the universe if he would like. His actions and progression grant him the right to just let his hair down once and a while. I support him fully and truly. Humans with a lack on universal intelligence, who consume themselves with concern of others consumption, really need to do something better with there time like the man himself does. Humans waste too much time on concerns like this.

He is a true leader in the universal brotherhood of the fair travelers. 🤝
