Alex Jones from Infowars is essentially a controversial character with just a little too much to say. But, he has the right to say it considering we have Free Speech?
He has been both shadow banned/banned off many of the gigantic media corporations that dictate American society.
His views/speech is being impeded on by these huge corporations to limit his motives. To me this is moving towards an America that lacks free speech and classifies 'hate speech' as being a real thing. But to have free speech, hate speech must not be a thing. Considering anyone could find language hateful, it could be thus considered 'hate speech'.
We all have a responsibility to use our free speech to the benefit of America, but we are not 'forced' too. Even though I don't agree with many of Mr. Jones' ideologies, I still feel as though he should have the right to say them. For example, Nike posts an ad that is divisive in nature but that doesn't get suppressed because it fits the left's agenda. But Jones' throws conspiracy ideas out in a similar fashion about other topics and gets completely censored by huge media corporations. He has been banned from the Apple App Store, YouTube and Twitter.
Personally, since I consider 'free speech' to be something that guarantees the right to say whatever we want as long as it doesn't incite riots. I would be fine with ANY group getting their messages out, whether that be neo-nazi, white supremacists or black superiority groups. Free Speech only works if every party has the right to get their messages put out their without being limited. And this is an attack on free speech in my opinion and the opinion of many others.
