Website hacking question, white-hat intentions.

theuncensored(dot) net/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi

This site is "suspended"

Are suspended sites hackable? JUST ASKING OUT OF CURIOSITY :)

Also, are sites that are supposed to be "parked domain" hackable? like those oddly-named porn sites filled with ads?

My reason is simple - I am curious,HYPOTHETICALLY, if a black hat could hack a site, lets say "Fakebook dot com" and then use that site for malicious purposes????

Again, not trying to cause problems here or anywhere, just studying the art of hacking!

I guess it would mainly depend on the host; if they removed their data from the server or not. Typically I would say suspended websites aren't worth trying to get into.
Anything can be hacked. It's just a matter of how difficult it is.

What I mean is, what are some possible attack vectors?

SQLi?

Is there an admin page on a suspended site?

I know nothing about how suspended sites are setup.
that does answer your question. yes suspended sites can be hacked
yes did you see how the admins of doxbin stole back their site from the feds? l0l
Pointless, unless there are other domains that are being hosted on the same server that are vulnerable. Then you could possibly symlink to the target site. That's if it and their database are still on the server.

Your chances are slim but you would start by doing a reverse IP lookup.

If you see any domains, start scanning for vulnerabilities.
Good Luck!  🤝

Thanks!!! I will check it out. Normally, after getting the site's IP, I just randomly try different attack vectors... Like for example, SQLmap. Yeah, I'ma skid, but only because I'm lazy   😏

EDIT: again, not gonna mess with it, but it is currently unassigned, so... Thinking about my own social media site, might just pay for it.
