Need advice on recovering my account.

Just looking for some advice here.

A certain social media account was hijacked from me about two weeks ago. Turns out that this specific site has basically no support team...great.

Long story short, I believe my best option is to attempt to brute force my account as my friends can see that my old account has a new user name, and the username/password should be all that is required to gain access into my account (hopefully the hijacker is not using 2-factor.)

The attack has been running for about 3 days Now at 20 or so words a second.

By attempting to "reset my password", I could see that my account is now tied to an email address with a .ru email address , a Russian domain.

The current password list that I am using is one of the most popular, however it mostly seems to be a combination of American English words/phrases/names.

Is there a better or statistically more probable-to-work wordlist that I should be using, given that my hijacker is probably not an amateur and is likely foreign?

I don't believe he/she is using a long hash-like password, as that would be pretty annoying to type/remember and I am certain this person has taken over several account since I can find other accounts with the same strange username. Also, it appears that every few days the hijacker makes small changes to my profile. Changes bio, profile pic etc.. but my pictures remain.

To be honest, my account wasn't even that cool, this is just on principle at this point.

Open to any and all advice here.

-S.
