Which test did/will you take?

In Canada the SAT is by far more popular, not sure if the ACT can even be taken here (probably can). As far as I know both are accepted at most colleges but the SAT is just slightly more accepted/written

Which test did/will you take?

I took the SAT. I likely would've taken the ACT too, as one of the schools I was applying to preferred it (though they accepted SAT too). But I ultimately ended up with a job offer at a startup and went that route instead of college. 11 years in the industry later, I'm not regretting that decision.

This is a pretty good resource though if you're not sure. It shows you what the differences are. And even has a little test to help you determine which is best. I'd still recommend asking the schools you're thinking of applying to what they prefer... if they even have a preference.

I took the SAT. Honestly, it doesn't matter much, just take whatever test is more popular in your area.

Took the SAT recently this year. I heard the ACT is generally easier than the SAT.

I took both the SAT and ACT--took the SAT two or three times, and the ACT only once because I missed the other exam. I prefer the ACT I think; less focus on writing, more on STEM shit. I think I scored pretty decently; it got me into the school I'm at now, so whatever.

What i've heard is the SAT is usually taken more in the west and ACT more in the east (US). To me personally, the ACT is easier.

I took both tests. ACT was meh. SAT was more challenging.

I took the ACT 5 years ago. The ACT is being slowly phased out so I really would worry more about the SAT.
