Currency Exchange

Scammed by Talent (uid: 1546975) for $260

Damn. This one sucks because it's my first big deal on here in a while

Basically I posted this thread in the CE section since I needed some btc for a new idea I had to resell an underrated product. Anyways, user Talent PMed me this, stating that he would trade me $240 btc for $260 paypal (8% rate). I obviously had a feeling this was fishy so I questioned him about it. He basically restated what he said before and told me to check his CE threads here and here for vouches. The reason i finally went first was because I needed to get this done asap asap so I could make more, and because I could relate to him since I used to sell and exchange a lot here but lately been inactive and no longer have any biz rep here.

Anyways here are pics of chat: https://imgur.com/a/Je7VCKn
payment proof: https://i.imgur.com/NCZFiAi.png and https://i.imgur.com/djikCHi.png

I will add this to the DD database next time I see he is logged on again. Wish me luck that this is a misunderstanding if not then I will have to figure this out through PayPal.

It always boggles my mind. You would think they would scam for bitcoin.

People tend to scam PayPal funds using a mule account. They basically have the funds sent to the mule account and once they're in there they instantly send the money to their main account, that way if the victim chargebacks he won't lose the money.

Yes but the money its traced and tracked and all that nonsense. I would avoid that all together if I were a scammer.

What they do is once they scam, and transfer the funds, they cash out or buy bitcoin.
