Like it was alright but I found that it was super slow at the beginning and even when it picked up the pace, it wasn't as good as people make it out to be.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret watching it but is it really good enough for people to say it's the "best"?

When i watched first 2 episodes i dropped it instantly because i didn't understood anything, then i also started saying that anime is totally bullshit. After some months passed i had extra time on my hands so i tried giving it a second go, my mind changed completely about that anime, it's great anime with perfect sense and time travel. It's more like the flash but in anime form.

I watched whole season of Steins;Gate and It got boring at the end cuz everything kept repeating but there is Steins;Gate 0 from 2018. Did anyone watch that and is it any better lol?

Steins gate takes a while to get into but it truly is a masterpiece. Give it a try its worth it.

Actually it's my favorite anime, I even like the 12 episodes at the beginning where it sets up the scene. For me it was the "best" because I fell in love with the characters and the setting of the story. Also Steins;Gate 0 is really good but I wouldn't say better than the original. The characters that weren't as present in the original S;G get a lot of screen time and there's a completely new story.
