It seems like it's time to repost a classic tutorial regarding traffic. This information is not new and has been posted numerous times.
Most of the time when someone asks for new traffic sources, they are told to go to Google. And that is the right thing to do. But most people don't know how to really use a search engine to their benefit. This tutorial is going to help you.
So you go to Google and type in "kik friends" and you get some sites. The sites that are visited the most are on the first page of the results. This is because of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Explaining SEO would take a whole day and it isn't really what this section is about. The basics are this - Websites target the keywords that are most likely to be searched regarding their websites. So a site that sells handbags will target the keywords "handbags" or "purses" because a buyer will be searching for those terms. The sites list these keywords in their meta data to help them rank higher on search engines.
Right now, you're probably confused. But stay with me.
So, a horny guy wants to find a girl on kik. He goes to Google and types "kik girls". And he gets a list of sites. He will probably go to the first 3 or 4. Now if you're trying to sell, you want to be on the sites that he goes to.
But how can you find out where they are going?
Simple. The websites themselves will tell you if you just look at their meta data. For this example, we will use kikfriender.
If you were to go to the site and right click, you will get a menu. And on that menu you should see "page info". Click page info and you will get something like what the image below shows. You are only interested in the Keywords section that I have circled.

These are the words that the site is trying to target. Why? These are the terms that visitors to their site are searching for the most. And these will be the terms that you will now be searching for.
Copy the keywords and make a list. Take that list and start hitting Google, Bing and Yahoo. You should find more traffic than you are used to getting. After all, how often have you searched for "local kik"?
Happy Hunting.
