Do you feel a connection to your favorite musician?

Hey Hackforums,

it might sound weird, but im still not over the fact that X is dead. I know he wasn't the best person on earth but i just can't get over his death. Whenever i hear his music my heart aches. Nothing makes me more sad than seeing the images in my head of him sitting dead in his BMW.

Do you know that feeling? Do you feel the same?

How to you cope with the pain?
It feels weird... When anybody who I knew dies. It's like you can't get a sequel which makes me feel bad.
I had (and still have) the same thing with Peep. I just can't get over it. Bless their souls, rip.
I have a connection with an artist's music like Swedish House Mafia's music. However, i can't have a connection with the artist himself cuz we don't know everything about the artist real life.
Bleh
Got bless the dead but X was not a musician and calling him an artist is a slight overstatement in my opinion.

I never actually thought about that fact. Technically he isn't a musician. To my knowledge at least. Then again the voice is an instrument. Not that he was an amazing singer or anything but I think his success earned him the title as a vocalist.
However I would consider him an artist. One with a lot of artistic integrity? Questionable. He didn't really innovate much he just kinda copied. In the end he is still an artist.
X isn't a musician. He's a normal guy, that you got to understand through his voice.

You never knew him personally? But that's the way death goes. Connections get broken. And once you see it for what it is, you can be glad that it happened, and realize that it's history and nothing can be changed. I personally wouldn't cry if my favorite artist died, but I would understand what they felt before they did, which is what matters more

If I buy a coloring book and fill it in, that doesn’t make me an artist.
If you sing karaoke at the bar, it doesn’t make you a singer.

Maybe I’m bais because I hate 90% of today’s rappers.

To each their own I guess.

Actually not really, usually just reading/listening the texts and thinking about it.
