I am creating a botnet in Python for a side project ( I'm not planning on spreading it, just something to work on when I have the time. )  Anyways, I'm wanting to make the botnet execute automatically when the slave turns their computer.

How would I go about doing this?  ✌

You cannot protect ur source codes with python, its too easy to decode so .. Try with something else.

You need a process that can connect to a server and wait for messages, not to dissimilar to a chat room using socket.io

Stick a batch file in the boot folder that runs the bot on startup, this is really easy to spot but since you are not using it for illegal reasons then it should work fine :)
