'P' Button and Apostrophe Button Doing Weird Things

I am wondering if my dog has done his usual and ran across my keyboard and hit some shortcut as now whenever I type a P the cursor jumps back one space and I have to click to get it back (right arrow doesn't work). Aside from this, my apostrophe button does this: '*.

In Facebook, the P button acts as enter too. It made typing this a nightmare.

Anyone know what'*s occuring?

This could be a completely different case, but I had an similar issue myself in the past. Like 10 keyboard keys of mine wouldn't work, and when I hit the shift key, it would just simulate the enter key instead. It was hardware related, because when I replaced my keyboard with a new one, everything returned to normal. This was on a laptop btw.

Idk what type of keyboard you're using, but it might be a calibration issue too.

I am on a laptop. I couldn't stand it any more so I just reset Windows lol. I still have a problem with my cpas making e type double letters for some reason though lol.

Yeah, sounds to me like a hardware issue. Try plugging in a USB Keyboard if you have one and see what the result is. If it's working like the built in one should, then you might want to consider ordering a replacement.
