Just wanted to know if drop shipping in 2019 is a good idea or has it come to an end. Also would like to hear from people who failed and those who succeeded, the strategy, initial costs etc.
How many of you failed at drop shipping? |

I have failed in it. I learned some stuff though that may be useful later.
I downloaded a few courses and did the typical fb ads method. Maybe a mistake I did was that I went for a niche store and that limited the products I could experiment with. I see a lot of people on HF saying they make good money with FB ads though so I may give it a try again with a different niche. Unfortunately, with a lot of money-making schemes, if everyone is talking about it, you usually missed your chance to turn a huge profit.
I haven't tried drop shipping but I know some people who have. It's not worth it unless you study up. Never waste money on guides like "DROP SHIPPING GUIDE: MAKE $6900 IN YOUR FIRST WEEK"
Yeah right, a noob making that much in the first week but you can't even afford the caps lock button to turn caps off, nice lie lol.

I think people should stop trying to drop ship stuff and come together to INVENT new stuff and pool their money to brand and market it. I guess hackforums can take things to the next level by having a new collaboration section where certain moderator/s take care of the pooled money and help people from various walks of life to combine their ideas to invent a new product. The last time i saw color changing shoes(in the sun) i was just blown away. May be we could have people stuff from arduino boards and python etc. If we could crowd fund our own projects it would definitely turn in a larger profit than just buying and shipping from china. Otherwise, we are only going to be feeding fb and google with our hard earned money.
Im pretty sure that lots of people have had great ideas that were only shelved due to a shortage of capital and together those challenges can be overcome. |
