Asking for plane ticket $$

I know blackmailing and extortion is a big no-no, but can I get in any sort of trouble for asking for $200 for a plane ticket to meet up with the guy, the guy pays, I tell him I'll text him when the plane lands, and then I just block him?
Definitely you will get in trouble.
E-whoring rule 1: DON'T SCAM
It's way better to say i missed my flight or something else. That way you can still keep him as a buyer.
There are some over dramatic responses here. There are ewhores who scam for large amounts of money for fake meet ups everyday who don’t ever face any consequences. I wouldn’t do it but the police aren’t going to come beating in your door over $200 either.
Well, the community is divided between scamming & not scamming.

In the end, all E-Whorers are scamming them to different degrees.
Depends on how far you are willing to go. There are some who don't care about it and some who believes it ruins the markets for others.

In the end, the Q. you asked - see if you can withdraw money without resorting to the plane ticket excuse. You can keep him on the hook for longer. If you want to end your business with him, go ahead with that excuse, get the money and just move on. (Or if you are clever - make excuses, that you spent that money on something more important)
