First, you are going to have to do basic steps in order to update terminal so below just copy and paste into your terminal.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Once you do this build the essentials

sudo apt-get -y install build-essential
sudo apt-get install git

This Next step may take some time depending on wifi connection so sit back and relax for a little bit.

sudo apt-get install libssl-dev libssh-dev libidn11-dev libpcre3-dev libgtk2.0-dev libmysqlclient-dev libpq-dev libsvn-dev firebird-dev libncp-dev
git clone

At the end of te above command line make sure to add (https//:)github(.)com/vanhauser-thc/thc-hydra.git

Once that is done make sure to change your directory into the "thc-hydra" directory

now configure

then make

sudo make install

If you did the above steps correctly then type the below statement into your shell and make sure its running.

hydra -help



Now lets get the VR running, just copy and paste into your terminal.

sudo apt-get install gtk2.0

cd thc-hydra/hydra-gtk

./configure
make
sudo make install

Once this is done type the below statement into your terminal to run the program.

"xhydra"
