To be honest I still do this, once I finish a bottle of anything I just weirdly put the bottle ring, not the cap in my mouth and sit and chew on it.. However I have a bad habit of biting my nails till they are at the point of bleeding and if I can't bite them anymore I need to chew on something, so a bottle ring does the trick.
