I have a lot of combo lists, but would like to delete all the email addresses and just keep the passwords.
Anyone knows of a program that can load many combo lists and just delete the email ?
just write a simple python script:
1. enumerate all files (txt files i guess) in a directory, store them in an array
2. for loop to sequentially go through all the files by name, stored in array
--2.1. sequentially find matches for the following regex: \n*:
--2.2. replace regex matches with \n
--2.3 close file

Thanks. I thought about this option, but I don't know enough about Python to code a program like that. But I'll guess that I have to learn python soon.

notepad ++ is your answer
Are you sure that Notepad++ will be able to edit one or more txt files by it self ? Like removing the email address in each line and just keep the password ?
Where in the Notepadd++ menu should I look for this option ?

i think he was mainly referring to the find/replace option. just use the regexes i listed and that should do it.
dunno if it can scan the occurences in multiple files, let alone have all the files loaded, if you really have as many as you say

It would be rather easy using grep, sed or even cut. let's say I have a combo file with emails and then passwords (in a file named combo), like this..
I think cut is the easiest for someone who isn't familiar with regular expressions in unix
Code cat combo|cut -d':' -f2>combo2;cat combo2
https://regexr.com can do this too if you for whatever reason can't do any of the above.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that :)

Thanks :) I have only used those tools very few times, but will look them up again.

I took an extra look at this line you wrote too me and hope I now understand how it is put together.
cat combo : Opens the combo file
cut -d':' -f2 : I think it is the part where you select if it is before or after the : key, that it should delete text
>combo2 : create the new file
cat combo2 : Show content of the new file
Another question.
What if an email and password sometimes is separated by ; or : ind the same txt file. "cut -d':' only works with : not ;
I tried this - cat combo.txt|cut -d';' or ':' -f2>combo2;cat combo2 - but it did of course not work for me. How can I do this ?

these are basic tools that come with unix, so any linux distro will work. im using ubuntu.
Code cat combo|cut -d':' -f2>combo2;cat combo2
cat combo, will print the file to the console (combo is the name of the file you want to edit)
|, this is a pipe, it will take the previous command and "push" the results it into the next command
cut -d':' -f2, this is the cut command, it cuts inputs into columns. -d specifies the delimiter, -f specifies which column to print
>combo2, this redirects the output of everything we did to a file named combo2
;cat combo2, the semicolon tells unix to process another command, which prints out the combo2 file

If I want to find all .eu mails. How do I do it ?
If I use grep and write - grep .eu file.txt - it takes all lines with eu in it and not .eu
I found this, but it is not working as I want it to. It also finds combination where the eu is in the password
grep -E "([a-zA-Z0-9_\-\.]+)@([a-zA-Z0-9_\-\.]"+\.eu")" file.txt
If it is Email:Password,Simply go to hashkiller and go to list tools and after that paste the combo and you will be able to divide it and keep the password or the emails.
Pm if you get a problem.
Thanks. I did not know about the Hashkiller site :)
