The Great Firewall is designed to reduce the amount of foreign traffic. It's not surprise that bing was subject to this just like Google was.

Was a matter of time. Microsoft jumped through hoops to try and have Bing allowed but it's never going to be enough I suppose.

Why would they though? I honestly doubt a lot of people in china would actually use it. I think they would prefer Google or some other search engine like Baidu.
