Me and the other half had plans to go to see the Northern Lights on her 40th Birthday. Her dad caught wind of this and has just booked us three days in the Aberdeen Hilton in December. I'm over the moon and can't wait. Even if we don't see the lights, it will be great to get away fro some quality time. We have 4 kids and barely get time alone.

Tbh I have never bothered looking. I'm a bed early, up sparrows fart kind of dude, so by the times I'd need to be out watching, I'm usually tucked up in bed. I should make an effort though.
