It looks like they use premade themes, are you sure they don't have a drag and drop website builder?

Simplicity typically means less flexibility. If it's too simple then you may be restricted to the templates provided by them. Have you considered that Big Cartel may not be the right platform for your needs? And that you may be better off running a Shopify store, or a WordPress/WooCommerce-based store?

I just got Wordpress, I tried Shopify, but I don't have the funds for that.
I would love to use Shopify if someone had made a custom website.

If you don't have a ton of funds to work with, I'd suggest looking into WooCommerce it's free and there's tons of stuff for it.
