So, I was sitting at my desk when I thought "hey I wonder how a space heater controller works", so after grabbing a screwdriver I pried open the back of the controller and at first everything seemed normal with the motherboard, transceiver, etc. then I realized that there were actually two battery slots as opposed to the just the one you could seemingly replace. I'm not sure why they would do this or if this was done on purpose. Sorry if this was boring or just banter, but hey now I can get twice the battery life.
*the second battery slot was above the one you could replace and the two batteries where connecting
