The Official Trading Help Desk | Ask Me Anything...

Good morning everybody,

I just joined this community and was wondering here on the investment section and it seems it's not very active and hot, so here i am to bring life and passion in here 🎉

I have been trading for over 7 years so far with consistent success over the past 4 gaining around 10-30% a month, i'm specialized in forex trading but i run a portfolio of stocks holding them between a month and two with low but consistent gain of an average of 30% a year (with little to no effort to find stocks to buy etc).

I do have a business related to forex trading where i provide analysis and signals but i'm not here to promote myself so i won't disclose it...

Anyway back to the thread topic, i'm here to answer all of your doubts and question about forex or stocks trading, i wanna make this section hot so if there is a recurring question or topic i will make a dedicated thread about it, while keeping it very clean and elegant...

Nothing else to say i guess...
Let's get it started 🤝
Hi, have you played with crypto trading? Also, how effective are these apps like Plus500 or Etoro with trading? They make it look easy, what percentages do they take? Not very experienced, but plan on making investments at some point, so glad I found this section.
Cheers

I'm just holding some crypto but never actively traded them like i do in forex, I assume you are from Europe if you talk about Plus500 and Etoro, i have been with both of them for a while and i can say that they are a bit shady... If you are interested i can send you a better alternative, anyway to answer your question every broker earns money from spreads, basically let's say Apple is trading at $200.50 and you want to buy 1 share, they will sell it to you at $200.60, so when you open your position you will notice you are already in a small loss (that's the broker commission) the spread varies depending on the asset how much volume there is in the market etc...

Sorry if you misunderstood my thread, i'm just trying to build some reputation here helping people...
Can you perhaps PM me more information? Thank you.

I can't PM you, what info do you need? I don't sell courses or anything, i have a little service specifically on forex trading and some stocks but you need to be a bit more advanced first (and i won't talk about it here as i don't want to sell anything), if you need any help feel free to ask questions here so everybody can benefit from the info...
Well then, that's a very interesting story. I'd love some proof - because there are too many forex scammers these days!

I'm not selling anything... Just sharing knowledge for anybody asking questions.

You make a bunch of claims, can you prove any of them?

Do you use fundamental or technical analysis?

And bull fucking shit you earn 10-30% returns a month in the Forex market lmfao. Could you at least have made it sound reasonable/plausible?
Let's see what you've got! I'm completely clueless to stocks trading. Where should I start, which platforms do you recommend using and what kind of stocks should I look out for?
Show proof. Here I'll give an example. Here is a forex trade I opened the other day.

I want to invest a few hundred every month and not worry about anything what should I get into? Low risk? Going for the long run Don't want to do the research or atleast research everything

Just choose a big market leader like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon or whatever, DON'T use leverage if you are looking to hold long term and save your monthly few hundreds to then buy your preferred stocks during a bearish market like the recent one, keep buying and stacking shares to increase your portfolio while buying cheap, this is a smart way of investing that it's not suitable for the average trader because it will take 10-15 years to see a decent return but eventually if you stack up some money into stocks that pay dividends then you can earn passive income from dividends itself, BUT as said it will take tons of time but will pay of...

Youtube is a good place to learn technical analysis, fundamentals and more, there are plenty of stocks, the main advice i can give you is to follow the S&P500 cycles, so when we are in a bull run like right now for example, then look to buy any of your preferred stocks, when on the opposite we are in a bearish market then sell of your positions and if you are confident enough then you can play the short side for some quick bucks, but the real gains are made when the bearish market ends and you start stacking up long positions, platforms there are a lot, if you are from the US then RobinHood is your first choice if you are from Europe send me a PM so i can give you some personal bits of advice, but again if you are completely clueless about stock trading then first learn how to read a chart using TradingView, learn some basic technical analysis (Don't waste time with indicators) for technical analysis i mean simple support/resistance, patterns like the wedge, the pennant, double tops etc, all of this MUST be applied in the overall market conditions (bear or bull S&P500). So, for example, you can't trade a bullish pennant in a bear market you are putting yourself in disadvantage.

I am specialized in fundamentals and i use technicals to find the best entries and exits for my trades, you are right i don't earn 10-30% a month every single month, but so far i have been able fortunately to average around 10-30% a month, that means that during the last year i made 150% where my biggest winning month was 50% while i had a few slow months and a losing month as well at -20% but in the end if you make an average it between 10-30% a month for my past 4 profitable years.
Again i don't know why i'm getting much hate, i'm just trying to help somebody in their trading journey, and again i'm not selling anything, if one day i will, be sure i will share some proof 🤝
If anybody is interested maybe i could share some screenshot of my trades?

Nice! That's interesting stuff right here. Will take some self research, as you said but the info here was helpful. Thank you.

In the end it's all about the experience, so start building some screen time looking at charts, open a demo account and start making mistakes you will learn from them, as long as you focus on the overall stock market (learn about interest rates because that's a big driver for the S&P500) you will do fine, don't overleverage meaning don't take risks you can't afford and you will do fine, just beware that it will take years so don't give up after a few blown accounts.
