Is Captain Marvel worth watching before I go see Avengers: Endgame next month?
I have been told from a few friends that the movie was pretty bad.

Yea movie was meh. But like any other marvel lore movie it’s kinda boring. I’d just wait for end game but if you wanna know her story go for it

I have been told from a few friends that the movie was pretty bad.

I didn't personally see it, but my friends (Marvel and non-Marvel fanboys) saw it, they think it's kind of boring tho.

The producer came out and said "What people don't like about the movie is seeing a female as the lead character" when he saw bad reviews and ratings on it, which just made it get even more bad reviews lol.

This is a very bland and unexciting film. The real issue was that Captain Marvel had no discernible personality or emotions and so I had no investment in her character.
The rest of the cast did a fine job. Samuel L Jackson as always oozes charisma and presence from every pore.
I can’t really understand how she managed to give such an unconvincing performance.

Otherwise the story was pretty standard stuff with a plot twist you could see coming a mile off. The action wasn’t very well done or exciting. I thought the cat was a novel touch and I enjoyed Fury’s interaction with it.

Overall it was a disappointment and Marvel will need to do a lot better if they intend to have Carol Danvers helm the franchise.

im only gonna watch it because some spoilers were in after credit scene in infinity war it is probably connected to endgame somehow

Yep i can agree with you, Captain Marvel was 90% story and 10% action. However in the Avengers it will be way different story :D

I wouldn't say it was "Bad", only thing that might have been a bit off setting is that she acted a bit too much of a bitch in the movie lmao, if your a marvel fan tho and want to have a backstory before seeing her in end game, go watch it.
