I have a couple threads I would like to delete that I made years ago. They are innaproriate, and quite embarassing that has some real information on. I always knew they were there, but now they could be found by people I don't really want to see.
The posts contain nothing illegal or blackhat of that sort.
Is there a way to edit or junk these posts, I though ubers were able to junk our own threads?

I really hope they add a feature like this as well. I would love to do the same.
People removing content from the site became problematic and upgraded users lost the access to junk threads. Then people began mass editing threads as a "next best thing" and the site had to respond to that as well, by placing a limit on how many times you may edit a thread.
Unfortunate circumstances for when you do want to delete something old and low quality, but I don't think there's much we can do about it at this point.
I do believe you get unlimited edits on stickied threads. If it's serious enough, verify this is correct, then buy a sticky for your thread for 1 week and edit out the content.

There is no option to delete/junk your old post/threads.
It’s a Problem with seo within the forum.
At one time ub3r could junk there post/threads.
However this opinion has been removed due to abuse.

Would be nice if upgraded members could junk threads but set a monthly limit / capacity so it cannot be abused.
You can only edit threads that are less than 6 months old. Junk was taken away due to abuse.
Per Xerotic -
Quote:Ub3r Junk feature was removed due to abuse. As for editing... Ub3r members can only edit posts of theirs that are less than 6 months old. Mass content removal is against policy.
Only use HF to deal.

You sure can edit your thread but i guess there is a limit to it... other than that The Junk / Delete feature has been removed https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5613069

I believe it's similar to the account recovery policy. They don't help with those at all anymore due to a high amount of work that's correlated to a high amount of bitching, and making exceptions opens the flood gates to "whataboutme" assholes, so even in genuine cases, as yours sounds, I'd imagine they don't get involved at all anymore.

Oh yes I heard of that. I guess its one of the vendor perks, but you cant "Delete" old stuff.

No, and it doesn't mean we have permission to just delete all our old cringey threads, but in a real case like this one, I'm sure we'd get a free pass.

Yeah it would be nice to be able to do that though 😝
