For example

Virustotal and affiliated sites only allow a maximum of 140 mb for the file size.

I was looking for a way to upload iso and other file types that I have downloaded to check, compress them?

[Elweth]

You could try compressing them, but why not just download an AV and scan?

You have to contact VT, sometimes they allow scanning of files larger than 140 mb.

What is the maximum file size that can be submitted to VirusTotal?

128MB for the web and email interfaces, 32MB for the API interface by default. Having said this, should you have a strong and justified need to send big files through the API (even larger than 128MB) you can contact us in order to have access to the big files API call.
