Whats the difference between a regular and spoofed server?

Hey

This may be a stupid question but I am wondering what the biggest difference between a spoofed and none spoofed server is.
One can send an attack, the other can't.

Жизнь это не те дни, что прошли, а те, что запомнились

Uhh what do you mean 😁
A spoofed server just spoofs the traffic. aka you can send attacks from that server without it leading back to your server.
Spoofed servers are able to send packets with a spoofed sender IP address. These servers can use DDOS amplification techniques such as NTP amplification which sends a bunch of NTP packets to a list of NTP servers with the victim as the send IP address which will amplify the attack by something like 300x. Normal servers cannot send packets with a spoofed sender IP address.
