So, I got an ipad mini 2 for 15 bucks.
This particular non icloud locked ipad is going to an autistic child so she can learn to speak.

Problem is--the app that the school says is required is $299.00

 On android, there's a way where you can keep the paid app and get your money back.
I used to have ..something like a cracked version or something of the app store for apple--It's been so many years since I touched my jailbroken ipod--

I'm looking for that app but cracked. It's just too expensive.

Most of the time you can just refund apps. Do some research though. Highest I did was 11$.
Make sure the app is still on the ipad when refunding, after that, if you delete the app, you have to pay in the appstore again.

Hey thank you very much. Yep, it's been soo long since I messed with apple. I don't mind paying for apps. Some of it is just out right ridiculous. That app isn't available on android. I really appreciate the help. If you happen to come across a cracked-like-apple store deal where I can just copy and paste it and have access or something similar it's greatly appreciated. I have this ifunbox, but it's not on there.
Or even the cracked IPA would be greatly appreciated. I've been out of the game so long I barely remember anything. Google is what I shall be doing.

while cracking an app and changing copyright information on its own, is already difficult and requires an rather experienced reverse engineer ( those don't come cheap at all).

Even once you get the modification done, how to do you plan to run on the iPAD. You would need either:
1) An official apple signature before the app can run, or
2) A provisioning profile ( most people do not know about this ) alongside a self signed certificate
3) Converting the whole app into a webapp and run it within the browser ( not always possible, and this would be normally the hardest part - though this will work on iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, etc anywhere the browser works).

So this is really not something easy. If you were hoping someone with help you out for free or with little money ( you may be thinking $50 as little money, when i say little money I am thinking 4 figures , i.e, $1000) you won't find them here.

Please have realistic assumption or you will get scammed.
