currently running vpn on host machine with virtualbox/ubuntu set up. do members on this forum usually have vpn setup on the linux distro (ubuntu) as well?

also is a wired network connection configuration setup within the vm/ubuntu enough for total anonymity? or is wireless adapter recommended?
