Has anyone else gotten it for nostalgia? Did you enjoy it or regret the purchase when you could have just used a ROM?
Curse you, Bayle! I hereby vow! You will rue this day! Behold, a true Drake Warrior! And I, Igon! Your fear made flesh! Solid of scale you might be, foul dragon … But I will riddle with holes your rotten hide! With a hail of harpoons! With every last drop of my being!

I still got pokemon gold and my game boy laying around! Always fun to boot it up once a year and just play a bit for the nostalgia.
Have you seen Pokemon Sword? I see it's going to be out on switch soon. I might pick it up and play since I already have a switch.
Not sure how the new pokemon games are compared to the old ones, but the graphics looks cool.

I have a large collection of Pokemon games I would of played as a kid and it's alot better to play on my DS or GameBoy rather than any emulator. Much more nostalgic and alot more motivating to actually play, I tend to never finish runs on ROMS

Glad to know it's not just me then. I have the same issue finishing runs on ROMs.

I've always found cartridges to be more satisfying then roms, Taking it out of the drawer and plugging it in, Feels good. And i don't like the PC Controls. And it's not that expensive anyway, So why not.
