I remember Omni said something on twitter about having some HF shirts. Wanted to know if that’s still an idea. Maybe have a GFX submission for a HF T-shirt design.
I would buy one and I’m sure others would too.
Edit: If you have a design in mind, submit your design maybe Omni would like some.

I'm not sure why there's no Hackforums merch shop. They could've made it years ago already. There are people here that would make the designs and store for free, just to work on something for the community.
And I won't even mention how many pieces they could've sold already.
Merch is just another thing to worry about i guess when Omni very busy as it is, Yeah the GFX section would put out some cool designs me myself id love to design and make some concepts that would be awesome but it dont know Omni's thinking behind merch.

That I could see it being a hassle but if he would do a POD (print on demand) where the company would take care of the printing on a Shopify app and the shipping. All it would need would be the design.

Is the HackForums logo trademarked in any way? Like could we make our own shirts legally?

It did come to my mind a few weeks ago, making a merch store that wouldn't be directly connected to HackForums but if Omni approves it, I'd definitely connect it to HF and give like 70% of the earnings to the development of this forum. But if he doesn't approve it, I don't think you'd be able to advertise the store here.
T-shirts, Hoodies and stickers, a combination of hacking, cryptocurrency and stuff like that (talking about designs).
There are even available domains like:

HackForums is a common law trademark. Basically if he wanted to pursue legal action against someone for using the name "HackForums" in any way, he could.

Nah, just buy it to support the community, flex on the forum a little bit and keep it inside the closet lol.
That's why I wouldn't sell shit like that, white label "HackForums" over the chest on black hoodie and that's it. There are some amazing designers here that can make cool stuff I'm sure.
And don't sell all at once and make it always available. He should sell it in drops, every month 1 line of clothes and it's never available again. That way you make it more exclusive. Or like, you have to do something on the forum, some kind of achievement if you want to unlock a limited edition hoodie. This might sounds lame to you, but it would work.
Hook me up with some HF merch already so I can declare to the world how much of a skid I am.

I would probably buy an HF tee/hoodie if they were available.
One day I'll have a decent enough designer I can make T-Shirts and other merch.
