There is absolutely no way you were banned from paypal from following my guide assuming you were using your own verified account.

What's in your guide that makes it worth paying money for it?

Exchanging is pretty straight forward. You buy bitcoins at few % under current value or at 1:1, then you sell it at a few % higher (usually 5-10% higher depending on payment method, fee's etc). You can either build a network of both crypto buyers & sellers through forums etc., or you can use websites that allows you to setup an account and place ads (like localbitcoins.com). From here on you're good to go. Depending on payment method you'd also want to make sure you can't get scammed (like paypal chargebacks, stolen funds etc).
