I'd just want any input you have, positive or negative on this. Hopefully we can have a great discussion where everyone
involved profits.
Python automates things with repetitive action and don't require cognitive thought.
Now I'm more looking for a similar online task that has the above requirements with a return of monetary value.
So that I can actually automate it.
The current thought I had was;
1. Looking for arbitrage opportunities and acting on them.
2. Looking for arbitrage opportunities and selling them.
3. Saw some website that shares website traffic. For some effort.
4. I haven't gotten to four yet.
But does anyone have any ideas on this.
To make it short, I want to make a bot that makes me money.
If it makes me $500 i'd be quite happy.
PS: If it makes me $500 it can make you $500
4. YouTube views bot.
I haven't gotten to five now.

I am not properly able to understand what you actually want?
Just some ideas, or hard fact

I always wanted to make an Ebay reseller bot. Something that could gauge the market, buy low, sell high. This thread really isn't Python related.

that actually seems pretty feasible, yet it would def require some man hours. Lmk if its something you end up pursuing, would like to contribute where able to.

I have my hands full with projects atm. Probably so for quite some time.
But I don't think it would be too difficult ... I mean there is the Ebay API and USPS API. Scrape all sold listings for the previous month, if that isn't already an API call, to get the low, high, and average price etc. for any given item. Translate data into charts. Use a SQL DB backend for record keeping. I personally would make it snipe any buy it now electronics under $5 with free shipping. A lot of people new to Ebay will make mistakes in their listings. Got a few laptops that way.
You're asking for ideas to generate money, for which you need technical skills, but if you had those technical skills, it's often more lucrative to start doing projects on a hourly rate for companies and shit.
So this thread is pretty much doomed from the start (apart from the fact that nobody is going to give you any money generating ideas anyway).

"apart from the fact that nobody is going to give you any money generating ideas anyway" I think this is from the thought, why would someone want to tell you how to make money and saturate the market.
But in response, "Why would someone take you to school if you aren't going to make money from what you learn in school?"
More so, out of any idea you come up with. There's less than 0.0001% chance that someone else hasn't thought about it.
Am saying people give money making ideas everyday. People like me just fail at execution for one reason or the other.

I get this point. You can share some insight on how to start working on an hourly rate. What skills are the best to have.
But am asking more of something I could sell to a company as a subscription or one time fee
Yeah ive played around with the ebay api but nothing beyond scraping and parsing data. And i may actually dig a little deeper into it especially since youre saying laptops for $5! why not haha

Thanks
Back when Poloniex was actually useful, they had a great API.
I had six different python bots trading for me and another one that was basically a loan shark.
It was great. Made a boatload of cryptocurrency. Then Circle bought them...did away with pretty much everything awesome on the platform.
In any case: look for things you can automate and give it a go. You'll be surprised at how many opportunities there are to make some cash.
