Recruitment Thread:
As we now kick off the search for new members to the hacking side of group. We also want to start a dedicated division for developers where team projects is the main focus. We are looking for people that have a interest in developing and learning new things. All developers will be working in a agile method and get there share of work with a deadline. Our goal is for the developers to learn something from each project and improve on there own skills while working on the projects. Aswell as the chance to make a few extra coins while working with the group.

Why do you want to join the group?: Because I would love to work with people around me with the same skillset, so one can learn from another.

Programming Languages: I primarily write in JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and of course HTML and CSS. I'd consider myself an expert, if there is such a thing, in all of those languages. I am also proficient in C# and .NET Core, and have dabbled lately in ASP.NET Core. Beyond that, I have a working knowledge of, and have deployed into production, C++, Perl, and some Python. I don't use these languages nearly as much as the others listed before, but can hold my own.

Past Achievements?: I've been a full-time, professional software engineer for over a decade. And I've been writing code for even longer (17 some odd years). During that time I've run the gambit, doing backend development, internal tools, and lately, full-stack development. Because of my time running an internal tools team, I'm also a proficient systems administrator. And I'm passionate about data, and database systems.

Specialised Area or Skill Sets? Not necessarily... I'm a skilled developer, and because of that, a problem solver. If the project intrigues me, I'll learn whatever I need to learn, to adaquately and efficiently write a solution.

Why do you want to join the group?: I'm here on HF in general to help others. This group provides more means for me to do so. I firmly believe that if your skillset isn't growing, it's dying; complacency is the death of a skillset. Helping people here on HF provide an outlet for me to continuously work on my own skillset. And my hope is that this group, and the developers you'll hopefully be picking up, will provide even more of that. I'm hoping to work alongside those with differing skillsets than me, so that I may learn from them, and vice versa.

Are you willing to work with/help others?: Yes, of course. This is the reason I want to join the group, as mentioned above.

Extra Notes: I didn't rank the languages I know because I misread the question, but rather have no clue what I'd be ranking myself against. Who's to say what a 7 or an 8 is, for example... Am I ranking myself as a percentile comparative to the HF community? To the larger dev community as a whole? It's such an arbitrary rank.

- My services are free for everyone. I love to teach people without putting my hands in their pocket. By me joining this group it would give me a opportunity to continue helping others, but also it gives me a way to redeem myself somehow. It also gives me more motivation and belief that im doing a good job.
