How to go about designing a car wrap? |
|
You're probably best of talking to a company that specifically deals with this type of stuff. I'd assume they'd have a wide range of templates of carsthat they use for the wrap design on PSD or whatever editing program it is and then there they add whatever design it is on to there. This would be the only way to do it as otherwise you're dealing with odd angles and other things that'll distort or skew how the wrap comes out where as the companys with the templates of cars will be able to manipulate it so you have the design where you want it. Hopefully you understand what I meant :D
Every car is different, so every template must be modified, anyways printing its something that is pain in the a55 to clean after the color fades, and its really hard to wrap it out, business cars like vans, vagons have boxed shape and they are easy to deal with, regular cars are hard one.

I am not to worried about cost, having to get it redone every so often, etc. I'm going to be putting a lot of money into the car anyway. ![]() |
